A massive round of applause to John Lewis & Partners for their Christmas advert this year, placing a spotlight on children in care. 👏🎄

 

This is a difficult time of year for so many, with over 108,000 children and young people in care this Christmas. As a support provider for vulnerable children, young people and adults, we are blown away by the number of positive responses we have seen to this advert and their campaign so far.

 

Our mission at Bedspace is to transform the lives of vulnerable people, and we are so happy to see more companies raising awareness for those young people who need our thoughts, empathy and attention.

 

As part of John Lewis’s campaign, they are collaborating with Action for Children and Who Cares? Scotland to create happier futures for children in care. For more details on how you can support please see the link in the comments below.

 

 

This is also a great time to remind you of our own fundraiser this year where the money will be split between our chosen charity Mind and the Bedspace Trust.

 

The Bedspace Trust aims to provide sustainable futures for those in leaving care post-18, who no longer receive funding from local authorities.
