Earlier this month, the Outreach Team in Liverpool once again received a moving and heartwarming letter from a Young Person.

 

Ibrahim is a local celebrity at Bedspace and you will recognise him from our recent video content in which he starred alongside Lauren Rogan! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjlN9TGBweo&t=19s)

 

In this letter he showed his deep appreciation for our team, referring to us as his, "Bedspace Family". He bid the team farewell following his successful move on.

 

Lauren Rogan has said,

"Ibrahim has always been an absolute pleasure to support and I hope he can one day fulfil his ambition to use his own experience to support future young people."

 

The letter reads:

 

"I would love to begin by expressing my utmost gratitude towards each and every member of the Bedspace Family. The place that completely transformed my life since I reached the UK. I have been able to begin a respectful life without fear. Bedspace helped me shape my life in the UK and it became my second home. Thank you for being with me when I most needed your help and presence in my life.

 

My older sister Lauren, I can never thank you enough. Your kindness and sympathy were invaluable and the amount of love you gave me left me speechless.

Although Cassie does not work with Bedspace anymore, her memories will always stay with me.

Thank you very much Aleem, my lovely bro.

And last but definitely not least, a very special thank you goes out to

Peter.
