Our Liverpool Team recently visited the Hugh Baird College Open Day to explore ESOL (English For Speakers of Other Languages) opportunities for our UASC Young People.

 

Ordinarily the intake would usually come in at certain points throughout the academic year, however, Hugh Baird were happy to discuss the needs of our Young People, even speaking about tailoring support to a group of our young UASC's.

 

In addition to this, there was also an option to develop key life skills by linking ESOL with other practical courses to enable further personal development.

Following the tour, the staff and Young People were impressed and are primed to attend their first assessment soon.
