What a remarkable way to conclude National Care Leavers' Week 2023! 🎉

 

On Wednesday evening, the Bedspace team, represented by Andy Hastie and Joe Pacheco, had the honour of attending a heart warming Care Leavers’ event and award ceremony at Liverpool Town Hall. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect and celebrate the incredible individuals who have shown remarkable strides in their journey’s to independence.

 

But the highlight of the evening was the moment we cheered on one of our own young people, Katelyn, as she received a well-deserved award. 🏆 Katelyn was so proud of her achievement that she insisted on showcasing her certificate alongside the Liverpool Football Club badge!

 

Even more heart warming was the sight of at least six former Bedspace service users, some of whom are still residing in Bedspace accommodation, being recognised for their outstanding accomplishments. This truly emphasises the impact and value that all of you working at Bedspace do to deliver support to Care Leavers in Liverpool and beyond.
