It’s been an incredibly busy period for us here at Bedspace; our co-founder Chris recently appeared on the radio to speak about the recent migrant bill and the current state of homelessness in Manchester, and we also appointed Mark Warburton as our new Property Director.

The good news continues, and we’re delighted to announce that we have appointed Louise Turner as our new Head of HR!

Louise is a senior HR professional with a wealth of experience across the NHS, social housing, financial services and the charity sector, where she has delivered the people strategy and led a large people services centre, serving and supporting a workforce of 7,000 employees and volunteers.

Speaking about her appointment, Louise said:

“My dream has always been to join and make an impact at an organisation with a social cause and I’m so proud to have joined Bedspace where I can deliver a HR agenda and develop a first-class HR service that supports our mission to transform the lives of vulnerable people.”

Louise is passionate about creating a positive culture, inspiring great leadership, investing in people, and embracing HR technology solutions to simplify our process and deliver a great employee experience. Her key responsibilities involve developing our HR service through delivering a people strategy and supporting us in embedding the all-important and impending OFSTED sector regulations, to ensure that our services continue to provide the highest level of care and support to all our children and young people.

We know that Louise will be a real asset to Bedspace in her new role and we’re really looking forward to seeing her make a real difference to the way we operate.

In her spare time, Louise enjoys spending time at the gym, swimming, paddleboarding and kayaking.
