Bedspace Goes Above and Beyond! Raising Over £8,500 for Mind UK & the Bedspace Trust!
04 01 23
Congratulations to all those who donated and #TeamBedspace for raising over £8,500 for Mind and the Bedspace Trust! 💥
2022 saw our team undertake countless marathons, personal goals/challenges, football matches and more to help raise money for these two amazing charities.
We want to thank everyone who took the time out of their day to get involved or donate to these amazing causes during such uncertain times!
We have created a video below to share some photos and to also take a look back at our 2021 fundraiser, so you can see how your donations positively impacted the 6 amazing charities during our Winter Homeless Campaign:

"The Stay Safe bags formed an essential part of the onward care that we provided to our guests during this period, helping ensure that all their needs were seen as best as we possibly could! The £300 will help us continue providing 75 nutritionally balanced meals every evening - the heart of our drop-in centre!"
The Archer Project said:
"We were so grateful to be chosen by Bedspace to receive their ‘Stay Safe’ bags. These bags contained items that are absolutely essential to the homeless community during the winter months. We had great feedback from all who received one and would like to thank you on behalf of those people. Thank you Bedspace and all the donors!"

"The Stay Safe bags were really great – we handed them out to people we work with and they were full of useful things. No one should be sleeping rough on our streets and your support as well as each and every person who donated will help us to keep our vital services open and bring people indoors to end their homelessness. Thank you!"
The Foxton Centre (Jeff Marsh) said:
"We are putting the additional £300 towards the refurbishment of a building that we will be using as a homeless day centre in the city. This will provide a warm place to stay access to showers food other basic needs and access to staff to secure accommodation. Thank you to all those who raised money and donated!"
Hull Sunday Soup Kitchen said:
"The extra £300 donation will go to providing food, serving trays and cutlery for our service users to enable us to continue the work we do with the homeless and vulnerable in Hull. The Stay Safe bags that were handed out at Christmas were great, giving them everyday essentials at a very difficult time of year for them. Many commented on how grateful they were, so thank you to all the donors!"
We want to thank everyone who has donated or helped in our fundraising over the last few years.
Without YOU, so much of this would not be possible!
Here's to 2023, where we are so excited to see how we can further positively impact our local communities!
