💙 Congratulations Harvey! 💙

 

Last night, the Lancashire County Council hosted an awards evening celebrating the fantastic achievements of the Young People in their local community as part of National Care Leavers Week!

 

 

We were excited to see one of our Young People, Harvey, be nominated for the Positive Achievement Award and last night he came runner-up! 🎉

 

One of our fantastic Team Leaders, Lois McConnell (pictured below with Harvey), had this to say:

"Harvey is a lovely young person and has been a pleasure to work with throughout his time with Bedspace. There have been some highs and lows during the placement, however, Harvey has engaged well with his support workers and has grown so much as a person since he came to us in July 2021. Harvey is a very independent young person and has shown that he is capable of managing his own tenancy and developing positive relationships with professionals. Harvey has a good work ethic and has shown that he is a dedicated and motivated individual. Bedspace is so proud of what Harvey has achieved so far, he has got a very bright and successful future ahead of him!"

 

Harvey was awarded with a certificate, trophy, sweets, go-kart experience on the night and a JD gift voucher from us!
