Liverpool’s Spooky Celebrations for National Care Leavers' Week!
31 10 24
Yesterday, our Liverpool team hosted a Halloween-inspired event to celebrate National Care Leavers' Week where the office was transformed with incredibly spooky decorations.
The team provided an amazing spread, featuring pizza, cakes, and other treats, along with Halloween-themed activities like apple bobbing, pumpkin drawing, and a toilet-paper-mummy-wrapping contest (see photos for the results)! Joe and others did a great job of decorating the room and providing tasty cakes, Tina took on the role of DJ, while TSRO Team Manager, Jen, created a fantastic balloon photo area that made for a perfect photo op. 🍕🎵🎈
We were also thrilled to welcome back Matty, one of our former Bedspace & Bedspace Trust residents, who is now making his mark in the music world (having recently been in LA)! Matty performed a rap and spent time chatting with the people we support, sharing his experiences and inspiring them on their own journeys. We’ll be posting more about Matty’s story on 18th November, including his full performance and interview, so stay tuned! 🎤
Thank you to our Liverpool team for creating such a memorable day, and to everyone who joined in on the Halloween fun. Here’s to National Care Leavers’ Week and the strong, supportive community we’re building together! 👻
