Last week, our Team Leader in Liverpool, Bridget, delivered an insightful training session to the LFC Foundation team, focusing on inclusively supporting refugees and asylum seekers. Bridget explained how Bedspace became involved with Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) and shared valuable insights into the asylum process.

This session will undoubtedly help the Foundation team to plan more effectively for young people facing complex challenges, including adjusting to life in the UK and overcoming past traumas.

As we continue supporting initiatives like the Street Soccer Foundation Programme, which has positively impacted many of the people we support, we're proud to see football being used as a powerful tool for change. Together, we’re turning lives around and inspiring young people to achieve brighter futures.

A huge thank you to James McCall and the team at the LFC Foundation for the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful cause!

"The refugee and asylum seeker session delivered by Bridget and Bedspace was incredibly informative and will aid the support that we will be able to provide participants in the future programme!" - James
