This week marks Eid ul-Adha, one of the most important festivals in the Muslim calendar. It commemorates the prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to God. It is a time of reflection, gratitude, and community.

From Sunday 16th June to Thursday 20th June, many of the individuals and young people we support will be celebrating.

Eid ul-Adha involves:

  • Sharing the meat of a sheep/goat with family, friends, and the poor.

  • Attending special prayers at the mosque.

  • Expressing gratitude and giving to charity.

  • Visiting family and friends.

Eid Mubarak to all who are celebrating! 🌟
