Our Children's Residential Service was first established by our fantastic Management Team (Daniel Wilson, Pauline O’Connar & James McGill) who established the property and service to not only provide everything needed for quality and tailored support but were also key in transforming Oak Lodge into a safe space and home for each and every vulnerable child who lives there moving forward.

 

The aim of Children's Residential is to be;

"the first safe step on the road to personal growth and long-term independence."

 

Our children’s homes provide a safe, comfortable, nurturing environment for 8 to 18-year-olds. Specially developed with this group in mind, it’s the first crucial step towards a happier, healthier and fully independent adulthood.

 

With staff on-site 24/7 as well as an on-call manager always available to advise and support. We also provide specialist support for children with emotional, attachment or behavioural difficulties, working closely with local authorities, education providers and children’s families to provide the perfect base from which they can thrive.

 

 

We have accepted our first placement within the home. From speaking to the team, the child, like many of our young people, has had a difficult start to life, however, they seem to have settled into the home well and are progressing positively with the team, getting used to the home and taking part in fun activities!
