Team Manager - Outreach (Families and Adults)
About you
To add to our existing team of dedicated staff, Bedspace is seeking to recruit an experienced Outreach Team Manager to oversee and manage the Families and Adults provision across Liverpool.
Reporting to the Registered Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service working within the OFSTED framework. You will oversee the operational care, ensuring a quality service is delivered ensuring all contractual obligations are met, and provide management expertise with the day-to-day running of the service.
As a manager of dual services, you will be responsible not only for the teams managing vulnerable Adults and NHS referrals as well as the Families provision; this is fast-paced and is focused more on emergency accommodation/housing management. You will be managing a team of up to 40 staff with two Team Leader direct reports.
You will be required to work across the region to ensure a professional service is delivered to our service users, ensuring high standards are maintained in each property.
Due to the areas this role covers a car driver is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for this sector, looking to make a difference in the lives of our service users, and will be looking for a challenging but rewarding role.
Essential:
- Management experience within an outreach setting of adults or families
- People management - managing medium/large size teams
- Previous experience working with vulnerable adults or young people
- NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (or willingness to work towards)
- Experience working with external agencies
- Stakeholder management
- Negotiation skills
- Risk and Conflict management
- Thorough knowledge of safeguarding
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use
- The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure, an employment background check, satisfactory references and verification of right to work in the UK.
