Home Finding Support Lead 🏠✨

For over 25 years, our team of 300+ compassionate individuals has provided housing and support to over 18,000 people in need. 🎉 As we celebrate our 25th anniversary in 2024, we're seeking passionate individuals to join our mission.

About the Role:

As a member of our Home Finding Support Team as the Lead, you'll play a crucial role in helping the people that we care and support find suitable housing that meets their needs. Working closely with local authorities and internal teams, you'll ensure that each individual receives the support they need to thrive in their new home. 🤝

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact for referral requests. 📞

Manage and lead the Home Finding Support Team. 👥

Monitor and record incoming referrals, providing accurate reports to senior management. 📊

Assess referral suitability and provide timely responses. ✔️

Maintain communication with relevant parties to ensure referral progress. 🔄

Collaborate with other departments to meet increased demand. 🤝

Serve as the liaison with local authority teams, representing Bedspace professionally. 🏛️

Contribute to process improvements to enhance our services. 📈

What We're Looking For:

Supervisory or management experience is essential. 📋

Strong administrative and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. 💻

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 💬

Knowledge of local authorities and the referral process. 📝

Understanding of safeguarding procedures and GDPR legislation. 🔒

Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure. ⏳


Good level of general education. 🎓

NVQ 3 Administration or similar qualification is desirable. 📚

Full UK Driving Licence is desirable. 🚗

  • 37.5 Monday to Friday
  • £28,800 - £33,800 depending on experience
  • Permanent
  • Manchester office
