Are you a Recruitment and Training professional looking for your next challenge?  Looking for an opportunity to make a real difference?  We need you to transform the recruitment and induction experience for our new support workers.  If you’ve got great people skills, can co-ordinate a broad range of activities and people whilst working at pace, then we want to hear from you.  

  

About you  

You will co-ordinate recruitment activity and working alongside your L&D colleagues, you will deliver our company induction to the new starters, and elements of local induction such as our systems and processes.  Working with our Head of Learning & Development and HR Director, you will support in setting up our Talent Academy, and our new initiative to develop future support workers.  You’ll support with our plans around early careers and career pathways.  You’ll have the opportunity to get out and about in the community, visiting local job centres and careers fayres to find us new support workers. This post is the “linchpin” between HR, L&D, and Service Delivery, so you’ll need to be able to listen to and influence a range of stakeholders.   

  

To be successful in this role these are the essential skills you’ll be able to showcase:  

  • Great administrative, IT and co-ordination skills.  You’ll be getting people from across functions to work together on a range of tasks to bring about results. 

  • Great people skills - communication, listening and influencing skills, you’ll have an ability to work with a range of people – candidates, new support workers, senior managers, and team managers. 

  • Experience of delivering training and induction programmes 

  • Experience of high-quality safer recruitment practices 

  • A passion for helping people as you will be helping our new starters to learn their new roles.
